There's nothing funny about the college apps process but somehow Nancy Berk manages to find the wit. Of course it helps that she's a stand-up comic as well as a clinical psychologist. Now she has a self-published book, "College Bound and Gagged," that finds plenty to laugh about - especially when it comes to other parents, whom she skewers repeatedly.
