"Slouching Toward Adulthood" Even if your own kids have launched successfully, I'm betting you have friends or neighbors whose grown kids have moved back home or who are roaming around some exotic landscape, collecting experiences while Mom and Dad fret, "When's he going to find a job and settle down?" The lives of 21st century young adults - or "adultescents," as Sally Koslow puts it - have changed dramatically since the 1970s and '80s, when we all were in our 20s.

Koslow's new book "Slouching Toward Adulthood: Observations from the Not-So-Empty Nest" delves into how those things have changed and what role we, as parents, have played. Check out the full review here.
