We've all done it, given our teens or 20-somethings an early Christmas gift - tickets for a concert, ski equipment or even plane reservations. It's fabulous at the time, of course, but when the actual holiday rolls around, it's kind of a bummer. What do you put under the tree? This sensational DIY craft - a coupon gift of sorts - serves as both fun souvenir and gift reminder.
Much like the iTunes gift card diorama idea, this project begins with an Altoids tin too. Here's what you'll need:
- An Altoids or similar tin. (Psst, these tins make easily customizable, creative ways to give cash too.)
- Double-stick tape
- Foam tape
- Card stock paper
- Scissors
- And photos or images from the concert, event or trip, including a shot of your teen or 20-something taken at the event
Next ... a quickie guide to help you put it together.
