Graduation Memory Boards

A memory board or collage that includes photos of your child's friends and/or your family is a wonderful, sentimental - in a good way! - decorative element for a dorm room. You can follow the instructions for making a memory board, using an inexpensive, lightweight frame - heavy frames with glass are not suitable for dorms, which typically don't allow you to pound load-bearing nails into the walls. Use images of your child with his friends, not solo pics.

But a number of online photo services, including Snapfish, Kodak Gallery and Qoop/Flickr, offer some very cool photo collage and poster options you may want to consider. Kodak, for example, will load scores of images into white-bordered cells or give the images a little shake so they print at slight angles on poster-sized sheets of glossy paper. Snapfish mounts 30 images in cells of various sizes, against a colorful background. And Qoop, which you can access from your Flickr account, prints poster collages in many different sizes.
