A slew of recent JDs and current law students suddenly went public – very, very public – this year with their angst over the cost and benefits of law school. Actually, they called it a scam, accusing law schools of raking in the dough and wooing new students on the strength of job prospects that are not nearly as rosy as depicted.
Maybe, maybe not, but for sure, their angry blog posts and headline-grabbers - including a hunger strike, bid for a tuition swap, and a bankruptcy filing - made for fascinating reading.
