Heading to a tailgate? Or just strolling the campus on a brisk wintry day? Baby, it's cold outside. But these cozy fleece warmers - a DIY fleece scarf, matching hat and soft blanket, which can double as a stadium wrap or tailgate tablecloth - are just the ticket.
Most of these projects don't even require sewing - or nothing more than a single small seam, anyway. Here's all you need:
- Fleece fabric: Pick a fleece fabric in campus colors, a stadium-friendly plaid or one of the adorable collegiate-print fabrics out there, and show your allegiance to Michigan State or USC in cozy style. (Those collegiate prints come in non-fleece, cotton-poly blends as well, which makes them perfect for college-print napkins or tablecloths too.)
- Scissors or a rolling cutter.
