Got a surprise party in your future? Then you'll need some very cool invitations. And this template results in origami-style surprise party invitations that actually launch a little confetti at your guests.
Here's what you'll need for each invitation:
- An 8- by 8-inch square piece of paper
- An 8- by 5.5-inch piece of colorful heavy paper or cardstock for the cover
- An envelope large enough to hold a card that is roughly 4 by 5
- Scissors, double stick tape and confetti
Start by printing your invitation text on the 8-inch square sheet of paper, centering the text in the middle of the page and leaving plenty of margin. If this is for a surprise party, as opposed to the kind where the birthday girl or guest of honor knows it's happening, make sure you include instructions for keeping the event under wraps.
